In 1910-11 the Muir Hostel (Now Amar Nath Jha Hostel) was constructed. Allahabad University renamed it "Amarnath Jha Hostel" to pay him regards.〔("Allahabad University official web page have described Amarnath Jha Hostel among hostel list" ).
